Puzzle History: This wooden puzzle was created by the mathematician T.H. O'Beirne, University of Glasgow.

Abstract: It seems that the eight wooden pieces of this packing problem fit exactly into the wooden box.  So, how can another small wooden block be fitted there as well?  How is it possible when there were no empty spaces in the box in the first arrangement?  Amazingly, it IS possible!

Object: Try to fit all 9 wooden puzzle pieces into the box.
